A Little Cape at Clubview Conference Venues
Conferences, meetings, workshops, seminars, and numerous other group gatherings and sessions form a part of just about every company’s operation, to the extent that some come to regard such assemblies as a bit of a nuisance and far too time consuming and disappointing.
Pleasing All the People
When it comes to venues, conference hosts in Gauteng may have a hard time selecting an establishment, because all hosts attempt to please all the people, all the time, during the duration of proceedings. That’s an almost impossible mission, since everyone attending has his or her own individual likes, dislikes, preferences, and list of features and facilities which pleases or puts them off.
The Appeal of the Cape
There is another scenario to consider. If you were to tell your delegates that your conference is to be held in the Cape at a Cape Dutch style venue, most would line up eagerly for an invitation to attend. Some might even get there before you. That’s just one example of how much the Cape appeals to those who don’t live and work there, but wish that they did.
Our 4-star conference venue is not located in the fairest Cape, so we cannot offer you panoramic views over the ocean and slopes of mighty Table Mountain, the smell of the sea and kelp, or the sound of breakers crashing against the rocks, while gulls and Cape gannets swoop over the waves in the hopes of catching dinner.
Kleinkaap’s Conference Venues
“Kleinkaap” translates as “little” or “small” Cape, as it appears in the name of our multi-award winning hotel. The first dwelling on our estate, more than 100 years old, was built in the iconic Cape Dutch style. We’ve retained and renovated the homestead, which is incorporated in the collection of venues at Kleinkaap.
Thereafter, we repeated and replicated the architecture in the addition of our 34 guest accommodation suites, and conference, wedding, function, and event venues, plus our latest improvement, the 16th Lintel Restaurant – our fine-dining establishment that’s a welcoming, delightful destination for gourmet meals with a South African influence.
We are situated in a well-established, quiet, peaceful suburb of Centurion – an area that’s well-suited to hosting business meetings. There’s non-marine birdsong aplenty at our little Cape, because Clubview is green and leafy, and the landscaped gardens in our estate include many huge, mature trees, plus the shrubs and flowers that birds love.
Our elegantly appointed conference venues are designed to provide the space, equipment, and amenities which hosts and delegates require. Extra options are available on request. We’re also happy to customise our conference packages, if required. Our venues include the following:
- Vergenoeg – up to 40 delegates
- Goedehoop – likewise
- Simonsig – up to 60 people
- Buitenverwagting – accommodates up to 350 delegates
- Rust-en-Vrede – seats a maximum of 250 people
Once you and your delegates have experienced the small slice of the warm, welcoming old Cape we offer at our hotel, restaurant, and conference venues, your yearning for the southern tip of Africa may diminish for a while, at least until the summer holiday season, when this year’s meetings are past and next year’s events are still ahead.
