Centurion Conference Facilities Presented in the Iconic Old Cape Style
In general, one may be forgiven for thinking that conference facilities are pretty much the same in most, if not every conference venue today, as conferences are part and parcel of modern business practices right across the world. However, thinking that all are similar would be a big mistake, because they certainly are not.
Conference facilities are by no means all equal, nor are the venues which house and host them. This brings one to conference facilities and their venues in Centurion, where one facility in particular features numerous advantages; not the same as, but a good cut above the rest.
The Call of the Cape
Many, many South Africans who were born and bred in this wonderful country would love to live, work, and play in the Cape. This may be so because the Cape is renowned for its varied, breathtaking sea, laid-back lifestyles, mountains, beaches, and forests.
It may also be because of its iconic old Cape Dutch architecture and rich history, as the place with people and ancestors to whom a significant section of today’s populace is directly and indirectly related. The roots of many modern South Africans of European descent are buried deep in the fertile Cape soil.
Centurion’s Old Cape Style Conference Facilities
Kleinkaap Boutique Hotel’s 4-star conference facilities bring a slice of the old Cape to Centurion. The main hotel buildings were once a Cape Dutch homestead on a farm, more than 100 years ago. The original dwelling was restored, and 34 guest accommodation suites, four conference venues and facilities, and a fine dining restaurant, the 16th Lintel, were added – all complementing and emulating the Cape Dutch architecture of the original home.
The conference venues at Kleinkaap Boutique Hotel include:
- Rust-en-Vrede – accommodates 60-350 conference delegates (a maximum of 350 in cinema or 220 in banquet style).
- Buitenverwagting – seating for 32-250 people (250 in cinema or 180 in banquet seating plan).
- Goedehoop – between 12-40 seated delegates (40 in banquet style or 30 in cinema configuration).
- Vergenoeg – seats 20-40 delegates (40 in cinema or 30 in banquet style plan).
Two conference packages – full day or half day (morning or afternoon) – are on offer at Kleinkaap, with the additional option of including overnight accommodation, which in turn, includes a scrumptious full English breakfast in the 16th Lintel. Delegates staying over are most welcome to book for dinner here too.
Modern, up-to-date conference equipment and facilities are included in the package offerings, while special requests and customised options and/or extras may be arranged to ensure that your conference delivers or exceeds your expectations.
Delicious Dining Facilities
The old (and new) Cape is known for excellent dining and delicious food with South African, Asian, French, German, and Dutch influences. Much of this country’s rich cultural food history is evident in our menus’ subtle touches which inspire our executive chef and culinary team at the 16th Lintel.
Excellent fare, beautifully plated, presented, and served at the 16th Lintel is as much part of your successful and memorable conference as are all the business-related facilities, superb accommodation, and the personal service and warm welcome at Kleinkaap.
