Dining at Pretoria’s Premier Boutique Hotel
Those who prefer exclusivity rather than run-of-the-mill goods and services will invariably choose boutique establishments at which to shop, stay, or dine, because this tends to be where they’ll find that which is unique, unusual, and superior to that which is intended for a mass market or mass consumption.
If you’re particularly selective about your hotel accommodation, choice of conference venue, wedding venue, and function venue, as well as your preferred restaurant, Kleinkaap Boutique Hotel in Centurion is bound to already be or fast become your destination of choice, just as it is for others who enjoy the finer things in life and all that a luxury lifestyle encompasses.
Kleinkaap holds several prestigious awards – TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice in 2016, in addition to being voted their 17th Best in the Top 25 Hotels in South Africa in the same year. Guests have also awarded Kleinkaap a rating of 9,1 for Excellence, via HotelsCombined.
The Dining Experience
Guests who come to Kleinkaap Boutique Hotel to enjoy our range of facilities are delighted to discover the fine fare, lovingly prepared and served at our restaurant, the 16th Lintel. Increasing numbers of residents from Centurion, Pretoria, and further afield are welcomed here – folks who travel to the 16th Lintel, purely and especially for an exceptional dining experience in beautiful surroundings.
Rather than offering a myriad of dishes in a menu that extends over several pages, our executive chef and team at the 16th Lintel compile fairly compact menus. Discerning diners are offered a variety of choice dishes that suit most preferences, whilst focusing on quality and subtle flavours with a distinctive South African influence.
South African Influence and Heritage
Although 16th Lintel’s menu changes periodically to offer our regular guests a constant variety, our current menu displays several aspects of our South African roots and heritage. Don’t be surprised, but do expect to be delighted by feature dishes like impala kidney pie, served with bacon jam and pickled wild mushrooms, kumquat pork belly, grilled chicken with a granadilla basting, white chocolate ystervarkies, and sticky date pudding.
The changes of the seasons may be detected in our chef’s choice of vegetables and herbs that feature in our menus, because our chef relies on the seasonal organic produce from our own organic vegetable and herb garden, just as the early settlers in the Cape did, centuries ago.
All subsequent additions and improvements to our establishment, including the brand new 16th Lintel Restaurant, reflect the love and care with which we and our guests regard our fine, 4-star establishment, and the warm, sincere welcome we extend to you, our guests at Kleinkaap Boutique Hotel.
